Charles ‘Charlie’ King was born and raised in Winterville, NC, and attended Arendell Parrott Academy. During his time at Parrott Academy, Charlie was the Captain of the baseball team and helped lead the team to a NCISAA State Championship title. Upon graduating high school, Charlie attended Davidson College, where he was a member of the baseball team, and excelled as a student-athlete.
Immediately after graduating from Davidson, Charlie attended the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University where he served as Moot Court Chair and was a member of the Moot Court Team. Upon graduation, Charlie was inducted into The Order of Barristers, a national honorary organization whose purpose is the encouragement of oral advocacy and brief writing skills through effective law school oral advocacy programs.
Charlie joined the team at the Robinson Law Firm in 2020, where he served as a law intern following the summers after his 1L and 2L years. Charlie further served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Chris Dillon at the North Carolina Court of Appeals while in law school, where he conducted research and wrote memorandums for civil and criminal appellate opinions.
